CrossPointe Church is a recent multi-generational replant of the North American Mission Board and the Wyoming Mission Network. We currently have a membership of 28 adults. The Facilities include two buildings which are the main church building and the parsonage. Both have been remodeled in the last four years. We are in the northeast region of the state of Wyoming and Gillette is approximately 33,000 people. The median age here is 32 years of age, and the community is fairly affluent. The primary industries in this area of the country are coal, oil, and ranching.

During the last fouryears as the church has been replanted it has been focused on six primary spiritual markers to move forward: Kingdom Mindedness, Prayer, The Gospel, Discipleship, The Ministries of the Church, and Unity. Our document related to this can be obtained upon request. Our next pastor will desire to lead the church to move forward with these areas as a foundation to his ministry and experience. He will be qualified based on the biblical qualifications laid out in scripture according to 1 Timothy 3:1-7 & Titus 1:5-9. Our next pastor will not be reformed in theology but will be Kingdom minded, and gospel centered. He will see the work of the ministry as being primarily outside of the church and will have a track record of doing so himself.

There have been 16 Baptisms in the last four years. We want to see that continue as we see souls saved, lives changed, believers, discipled to be disciple makers, and regular testimonies given about what God is doing. We are praying for revival in our town and in our country. We have an outreach ministry of serving those in need of cleaning their homes, or being taken to the doctors, or to pick up prescriptions because of age or health. We work with outside organizations like the Department of Family services and the Zoning Board for some of these services as well.

We are looking to be led on how we can continue to reach the community of Gillette with the gospel and how we can fulfill Ephesians 4:11-12 by being equipped and built up for the work of the ministry outside of the walls of the church. The church can provide a bi-vocational salary with a 3 bedroom 3 bath parsonage to include a family room, two car garage, and office. Utilities will also be included. We are praying for the next man God has to lead this church in the next phase of ministry for this church. We have already begun praying for this man.
